Members of the Firm had their legal education and their training in Beirut, Lebanon, for many years before they joined together into one law firm.
Hanna, Harfouche & Boulos was established in Sharjah (UAE) in 1976 and in Dubai (UAE) in 1978. The Firm handles counseling and litigation work before the local courts of Dubai and the Union Courts in the other Emirates of the UAE.
The Beirut office operates under the name of Hanna, Harfouche, Boulos & Sanbar. Mrs. Nisrine Bou Assi is the Resident Partner. The office receives the full backing of the UAE Offices and the three firms operate as one with the full use of modern technological means at the disposal of the lawyers and the staff.
The Firm represents a large number of international corporations, banks and insurance companies. The legal work includes the formation of companies, loan agreements, joint venture agreements and legal opinions. Several members of the Firm have been involved in arbitration proceedings, both as arbitrators and as litigators or advisers to the legal counsel on local laws. And some have appeared before foreign courts to testify as experts. The Firm also handles trademark registration in Lebanon and the UAE.
